Through the Charitable Grants Committee, the Society donates grants to many local charities and organizations active in caring for the sick, the elderly, women\u2019s and children\u2019s organizations and others in need. Although in the early days of the society we did assist individuals and families with direct assistance, nowadays we do not grant charitable grants to individuals. The applicant must be an individual Society member, a family member or the grandchild of a Society member.
